1. Authentication & App Authorization

Important: PermitNerd and its features are only available for monday.com members. Guests and Viewers of monday.com accounts do not have access to view or use PermitNerd.

Purpose

Before PermitNerd can function, it must be authorized to connect to the user’s monday.com account.

Steps:

  1. Go to the monday.com App Marketplace.
  2. Search for PermitNerd.
  3. Click install.
  4. Once installed, open the PermitNerd app from your monday.com workspace.
  5. Click “Connect to PermitNerd”.
  6. You will be redirected to monday.com’s authorization screen.
  7. Review the permissions requested (read boards, create items, update items).
  8. Click Authorize.
